20 Homes for Students in Menguen

A coloured series of 10 interlocking, two-storey, cylindrical volumes, this student housing project in Menguen is based on the principle that in 20 m2, there is a whole universe. Four windows adapted to four purposes (bathroom, kitchen, office and bed) and four types of flooring adapted to four uses (tiling in the bathroom, linoleum tiles in the entrance/office space, carpet at the bedside, linoleum in the kitchen), providing varied materials for the five areas of the small, 20 m2 studio.
